Tempus Resources Ltd (ASX:TMR) managing director Brendan Borg has shown his confidence in the company’s gold strategy in the Americas with an on-market share purchase. On February 12, 2020, Borg acquired 100,000 shares valued at more than $20,000 and now holds 2.2 million shares in two indirect interests. An airborne geophysical survey completed at the Zamora Projects in Ecuador will enable the company to redefine drilling targets. The Zamora Projects are adjacent to and within the same district as the world-class Fruta del Norte Gold Project, which is under development by Lundin Gold Inc (TSE:LUG). Blackdome-Elizabeth plan At the Blackdome-Elizabeth Gold Project in British Columbia, Canada, Tempus aims to begin exploration early in the June quarter of 2020 with sampling and analysis of potentially mineralised drill core from previous drilling programs. This is expected to be followed by drilling and sampling programs at Blackdome and Elizabeth in May, focusing on resource extension, verification and exploration of newly discovered targets. The company intends to update the current NI43-101 resource to JORC standard by the end of the 2020 exploration program.
