Trump ousts two officials who testified against him in impeachment
Saturday, 8 February 2020 () Two days after President Donald Trump's impeachment acquittal, his administration on Friday ousted two officials - Army Lieutenant Colonel Alexander Vindman and U.S. Ambassador to the European UnionGordon Sondland - who provided damaging testimony about Trump in Democratic-led congressional hearings.
The Trump administration on Friday removed Army Lieutenant Colonel Alexander Vindman from his position as the White House's top Ukraine expert after he provided damaging testimony about President Donald Trump during the impeachment process, Vindman's lawyer said. Jillian Kitchener has more.
